Job Summary
The Finance Executive (Director to VP level) is responsible for leading the organization’s overall financial strategy, planning, and governance. This role oversees financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management to ensure sustainable growth and strong financial health. The position also partners with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making, optimize financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations including accounting, treasury, and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor financial performance and key business metrics.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Manage external audits and financial reviews.
Business Partnership & Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategy with business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Lead and develop the finance team across functions.
Ideal Background / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles (Director, AVP, or VP level).
- Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and corporate finance.
- Proven leadership experience managing large finance teams and complex operations.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
