Role Overview
Our leading partner is hiring a UKG Pro Workforce Consultant specializing in Scheduling and Forecasting to design, implement, and optimize workforce management solutions. This role focuses on improving labor planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost control through data-driven forecasting and intelligent scheduling. The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in UKG Pro Workforce Management with analytical skills and a forward-looking approach to AI-enabled workforce optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements for workforce forecasting and scheduling.
- Configure forecasting models (e.g., drivers, calendars, seasonality) and scheduling rules (coverage, shifts, compliance).
- Align forecasting outputs with scheduling constraints to optimize workforce plans.
Data Integration & Validation
- Collaborate with technical teams to establish secure and accurate data integrations (e.g., POS, traffic, call volume data).
- Validate historical datasets and maintain data integrity to support reliable forecasting.
Testing & Deployment
- Develop and execute test strategies including unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Support deployment activities, including cutover and post-go-live hypercare.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with HR, Operations, and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment across business functions.
- Deliver user training and create documentation for planners, schedulers, and administrators.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor key workforce metrics such as forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE), schedule adherence, and labor cost efficiency.
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance, efficiency, and compliance.
AI Enablement & Automation
- Apply AI/ML techniques to improve demand forecasting accuracy and workforce optimization.
- Implement automation for scheduling, validation, and compliance processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2–7 years of experience in Workforce Management solutions, with hands-on expertise in UKG Pro Workforce Management Forecasting and Scheduling modules.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements, and predictive scheduling practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting techniques, and workforce planning methodologies.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments involving HR, Operations, and IT.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
