Our client is looking for a Reporting Specialist for their Global Business Services (GBS) center in Manila. This role is essential for providing accurate, actionable insights that enable strategic partners to achieve critical business goals and targets. The specialist will ensure data reliability through rigorous quality checks, continuous improvement initiatives, and comprehensive documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Reporting & Analysis
- Insight Generation: Generate and analyze complex reports forStrategic Insights (SI) teams to drive informed business actions and target achievement.
- Data Reliability: Perform quality checks via established control points to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all reports delivered by the GBS center
- Stakeholder Representation: Attend and represent the reporting team in cross-functional meetings to discuss project statuses, updates, and specific business needs.
Operational Excellence
- Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of current reporting processes
- Documentation Governance: Maintain and ensure the completeness of critical documentation, including Desktop Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Market Integration: Assist leadership in reviewing and integrating new market reporting requests into the global service model.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, or Information Technology.
- Professional Tenure: 3–5 years of experience in the FMCG, BPO, or Shared Service Center industries.
- Leadership: Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is preferred.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Data Visualization: Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and creating DAX measures.
- Software Mastery: High proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Preferred Skills: PowerBI, Familiarity with Automation, Macros, SAP, or SQL is a significant advantage.
- Market Data: Experience with industry-standard data providers such as Nielsen, Ipsos, or MSAI is preferred.
