About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will report directly to the General Manager / Business Unit Manager and Finance Director, and will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team (approximately 18 staff members)
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
• Ensure full compliance with BIR requirements, reportorial obligations, and other regulatory standards
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Drive improvements in accounting processes and internal controls
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
• At least 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a managerial role (currently holding a Manager position)
• Strong knowledge of taxation, BIR compliance, and reportorial requirements
• Experience in any industry is welcome
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
