About the job Finance Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases supporting revenue analytics and reporting.
- Develop automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and timely refreshes.
- Build and manage Power BI dashboards and analytics applications for monitoring revenue performance.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures; leverage Python or R for automation and analytics tasks.
- Support integrations between financial systems, operational platforms, and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams on cloud migration and analytics platform initiatives.
- Monitor data pipelines for integrity, efficiency, and opportunities to automate or enhance processes.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and organizational policies.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to analytics tools and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, IT, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in database management, analytics development, or data-focused roles.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, automation scripting, and Power BI required.
- Experience working with healthcare financial or revenue data required.
- Exposure to cloud analytics platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred.
- Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages preferred.
- Knowledge of data science, predictive analytics, or machine learning concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
