Key Responsibilities
- Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation by designing and delivering innovative solutions that align with stakeholder needs.
- System Architecture: Build flexible systems and architectures that scale up and out with business demand, upholding sound architectural principles.
- Product Roadmap: Work closely with the Head of Technology and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and release delivery timelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead one or more development squads within the Supply Chain tech team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and direction.
- Strategic Alignment: Translate strategic and product direction into actionable technical priorities for the squad.
- Agile Delivery: Provide user story backlog sizing and recommendations, supporting sprint planning and delivery cadence.
- Hands-On Engineering: Write code, conduct code reviews, and stay actively involved in day-to-day technical decisions.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold and enforce code quality standards to meet the engineering goals of the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of guiding and growing engineering teams.
- Proven experience in backend OOP languages, preferably Java, Golang, Node.js, Scala, or other open-source technologies.
- Experience in React, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Experience with relational database querying using SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with GitOps environments (e.g., ArgoCD, Kubestack) and automated code deployment tools (e.g., CircleCI, Git Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of open API standards and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience building applications using coding agents.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Preferred but not required: Experience in supply chain domains such as logistics, warehouse management, procurement, or inventory systems.
