Senior Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Our client, a premier global technology and engineering organization with over a century of innovation, is seeking a Senior Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This executive-level HR position acts as a vital strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leadership. The role blends advanced organizational design with deep functional HR expertise to act as an Executive Coach, Talent Strategist, and Culture Shaper—ensuring that human capital initiatives seamlessly align with cross-functional business objectives to deliver measurable organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Coaching & Leadership Capability
- Leadership Development: Partner directly with the C-suite and senior leaders to enhance management effectiveness, establish inclusive leadership frameworks, and strengthen the organization’s executive bench.
- Executive Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor to senior technology and engineering leaders, providing professional coaching on workforce dynamics, emotional intelligence, and team effectiveness.
Organizational Development & Culture Transformation
- Organizational Design: Lead large-scale change management initiatives, structural redesigns, and capability-building programs to ensure long-term corporate scalability and agility.
- Culture Shaping: Champion corporate cultural transformations that cultivate an environment of high innovation, cross-team collaboration, and rapid adaptability within a technical landscape.
- Business Strategy Alignment: Translate complex corporate priorities into actionable, data-driven HR strategies that measurably optimize business performance, employee engagement, and overall organizational health.
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Workforce Architecture: Partner with business heads to design and implement forward-looking workforce planning strategies, critical retention frameworks, and robust succession planning pipelines.
- Talent Development: View talent optimization as a critical business imperative, driving strategies that align recruitment, continuous learning, and high-potential development with market demands.
Holistic HR Functional Oversight
- Cross-Functional Advisory: Provide expert oversight and alignment across core HR streams, including Total Rewards (compensation and benefits), performance management frameworks, and employee relations.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure all workforce initiatives strictly comply with international labor standards, local legal statutes, and global internal policies.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional Tenure: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to a strategic HR Business Partner capacity within a large-scale matrixed organization.
- Sector Background: Proven expertise navigating highly technical workforces; experience within the Technology, Engineering, or heavy industrial sectors is highly desirable.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated capability to design breakthrough talent strategies that form a clear line of sight between the organization's vision and day-to-day actions.
- Change Management: Mastery of structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) and corporate organizational design models.
- Stakeholder Management: Elite business acumen with a verified ability to challenge, influence, and secure buy-in from senior global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic HR, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
- Professional Credentials: Globally recognized HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, CIPD) or formal coaching credentials (ICF certification).
