About the job Head of Business Development
Our client is looking for a Business Development Head to drive strategic growth for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
This role will lead business expansion initiatives across local and multinational pharma markets, with a strong focus on supply chain, OEM/manufacturing partnerships, and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall business development strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within pharmaceutical manufacturing, OEM, and supply chain operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients across local and multinational pharma companies
- Develop deep market insights through research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, QA/Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution teams to ensure successful project execution
- Oversee end-to-end project management of new business initiatives
- Strengthen and expand the company's network within the pharmaceutical industry
- Drive client engagement, negotiations, and long-term partnership development
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management, preferably within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industries
- Strong background in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing within pharma supply chain, toll manufacturing, or OEM operations
- Proven track record in account management and client relationship building
- Extensive network across local and multinational pharmaceutical companies
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field
