Role Overview

The Commercial Head is responsible for driving overall revenue growth, managing sales performance, and leading commercial strategy across channels. This role oversees key accounts, partnerships, and sales teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to drive growth

2. Sales Leadership

  • Lead and manage Sales Managers and Account Managers

  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics across teams

  • Drive consistent sales execution and pipeline management

3. Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners

  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial agreements

  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams

  • Align commercial initiatives with product offerings and go-to-market strategies

  • Ensure seamless execution of campaigns and programs

5. Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and revenue pipelines

  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership

  • Use data-driven approaches to optimize performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)

  • At least 8–12 years of experience in sales, commercial, or business development roles

  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing sales teams

  • Strong background in B2B, retail, or distribution environments

  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

  • Experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Ecommerce, or Retail industries
