Role Overview

The Head of Cybersecurity is responsible for leading the delivery and execution of cybersecurity programs across the organization. This role oversees end-to-end service delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong client engagement, and alignment with business objectives.

The position requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity, capable of managing large-scale engagements, driving operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the execution of multiple cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring delivery meets defined timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on delivery matters, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management.
  • Drive business development efforts, including proposal creation, solution design, and client presentations.
  • Manage delivery risks by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure effective utilization across teams and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices across all engagements.
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging feedback, performance data, and emerging technologies.

  • Client Engagement: Support onboarding, transition, and delivery of cybersecurity solutions for enterprise stakeholders.
  • Risk Oversight: Monitor, assess, and escalate risks across projects and service delivery operations.

  • Business Continuity & Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant certifications, audit requirements, and continuity planning standards.
  • Cost & Efficiency Management: Drive productivity improvements, optimize resource utilization, and manage delivery costs effectively.
  • Innovation & Transformation: Lead initiatives focused on automation, digital transformation, and adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 5 years in a leadership or delivery management role.
  • Proven experience delivering complex cybersecurity programs within large or enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as identity and access management, threat management, risk and compliance, privacy, and third-party risk.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with a range of cybersecurity technologies and platforms across identity, access, and security operations domains.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with enterprise cybersecurity platforms and tools across identity management and security ecosystems.
