Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. This role will be responsible for defining architecture strategies, ensuring scalable and secure system design, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality HCM platforms that support HR and business objectives.
The successful candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle HCM, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to guide projects from concept through delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural assessments, define solution strategies, and create roadmaps for Oracle HCM applications.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle HCM solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with enterprise architecture and technical leadership teams to ensure alignment with broader technology strategies.
- Collaborate within Agile delivery teams, including Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders, to drive successful project outcomes.
- Provide both functional and technical guidance to HR business users, ensuring effective design and ongoing optimization of Oracle HCM solutions.
- Support system integrations, security models, user provisioning, and single sign-on configurations.
- Identify and resolve technical and functional issues that may impact delivery timelines or system performance.
- Coordinate work across onshore and offshore delivery models as required.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle HCM solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within SDLC processes, including solution modeling, documentation, and enterprise-level collaboration.
- Strong functional expertise across Core HCM, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Compensation modules.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM architecture, including PaaS and SaaS environments.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud data models spanning HCM and finance domains.
- Proficiency in SQL optimization and best practices related to HCM extracts, Fast Formulas, and OTBI reporting.
- Solid understanding of systems integration, security architecture, user access management, and single sign-on technologies.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts is considered an advantage.
