Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to support end-to-end implementation and ongoing maintenance of human capital management solutions. This role involves working across the full lifecycle of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors projects, covering core HR processes, talent management, payroll, time management, and analytics.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into system solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and best practices.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Implementation

  • Participate in all phases of project delivery, including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Lead or contribute to requirements gathering sessions and validation workshops with stakeholders
  • Perform fit-gap analysis to evaluate business needs against standard system capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Configure SAP SuccessFactors modules based on approved business requirements
  • Maintain and update configuration documentation and functional specifications
  • Develop process documentation, including workflows and approval structures
  • Support data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading where required
  • Assist in cutover planning and execution activities

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Manage and track defects, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues
  • Facilitate system demonstrations to stakeholders during different project phases

Stakeholder Management & Support

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and solutions
  • Provide regular status updates and ensure timely resolution of open issues
  • Deliver post-implementation support, including system maintenance and enhancements
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization

Continuous Improvement & Practice Development

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and capability development initiatives
  • Support development of reusable assets such as case studies, solution documentation, and best practices
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance service delivery and solution offerings



Required Skills & Experience

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementation and configuration (minimum 1 year)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in SAP HCM, HR systems, or related IT/HR operations environments
  • Prior experience working within HR functions or as an HR systems user/administrator (2–3 years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including core HR, payroll, time management, talent management, and reporting
  • Experience across full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and deployment
  • Familiarity with SAP HCM (ECC) modules is an advantage

SuccessFactors Module Exposure (any of the following)

  • Employee Central and related extensions (Time Off, Benefits, Payroll)
  • Talent solutions (Performance, Goals, Succession, Career Development, Learning)
  • Recruiting and onboarding solutions
  • Analytics and reporting tools

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, IT, or related discipline
