Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking a Senior Manager for New Product Introduction (NPI) to join their cross-functional innovation and product competency team in Manila. This role acts as a strategic extension of global business units—including Supply Chain, Commercial, and Marketing—with a primary focus on owning and managing end-to-end data processes for various product introductions across international territories.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Framework Development: Define and implement material master data governance frameworks and policies aligned with established innovation processes.
- Global Alignment: Act as a direct extension of the global competency team, funnelling core policies to the local team to ensure compliance, synergy, and standardized delivery models.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and global company values.
Operational Management & NPI Oversight
- Master Data Lifecycle: Oversee material creation, extension, change, and deletion processes, specifically for non-finished goods involved in the innovation pipeline.
- Service Excellence: Ensure timely processing of master data requests in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor quality KPIs to implement corrective actions.
- Escalation Management: Serve as the first line of contact for high severity incidents related to SKU and innovation pipeline data.
Team Development & Performance
- Talent Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Master Data Analysts and Specialists, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
- Capacity Planning: Manage workload allocation and resource planning, including recruitment and talent retention initiatives.
- Culture Building: Drive employee engagement and foster an inclusive environment characterized by accountability and teamwork.
Stakeholder & Business Partnering
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for Procurement, Planning, Production, Finance, and Logistics teams to mitigate risks related to incomplete master data.
- Executive Communication: Manage the communication of complex issues and root cause analyses with senior management at a global level.
Requirements
Experience & Education
- Education: University Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- Leadership Tenure: At least 3–4 years of experience managing people and teams.
- Professional Background: Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex integrated processes and analyzing data solutions/models.
- Sector Experience: Previous work experience in Data, Supply Chain, or Finance is required.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Expert Capabilities: Advanced proficiency in IT System Landscape and Relationship Management.
- Project Management: Intermediate skills in Project Management, Design Thinking, and Analytical Thinking.
Language Skills: Fluent written and verbal business communication
skills in English.- Preferred Certifications: A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or a PMP certificate is considered a very strong advantage.
