About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Accounting Assistant Manager to support our finance operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in the travel agency or travel management industry, who can handle the technical aspects of accounting processes while working closely with the Accounting Manager on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Accounting Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations
  • Handle technical accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
  • Manage and monitor foreign currency transactions and conversions across multiple countries
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Assist in BIR compliance, reportorial requirements, and statutory filings
  • Conduct benchmarking and financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff as needed
  • Continuously improve accounting workflows and systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • Experience in a travel agency or travel management company is required
  • At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, with supervisory exposure preferred
  • Strong understanding of technical accounting processes
  • Experience handling multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange conversions
  • Knowledge of BIR regulations and compliance requirements
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
