The role oversees end-to-end corporate travel operations and conference/meeting events across Asia, ensuring smooth execution, policy compliance, and a seamless employee experience. Acting as the key regional contact, the manager collaborates closely with internal teams, regional stakeholders, and external suppliers to deliver operational excellence and support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage regional meeting and event operations, ensuring consistent execution across markets.
  • Manage event platforms (e.g., Cvent), maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, including budget compliance and planner responsiveness.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive platform adoption, address training needs, and align regional practices with global standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workflows, market-level initiatives, and procurement alignment.
  • Oversee corporate travel programs, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, visas, and vendor management.
  • Implement and enforce travel policies, ensuring compliance, traveler safety, and duty of care standards.
  • Monitor travel data and trends to optimize spend, improve reporting, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Manage relationships with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and suppliers, negotiating rates and service levels.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams on policy updates, operational performance, and cross-market alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5–7 years of experience in travel management, meetings/events operations, or procurement in a regional or global context
  • Experience with platforms such as Cvent, Concur, and working with Travel Management Companies (TMCs)
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Proven ability to manage and improve end-to-end travel and events processes
  • Skilled in project management, compliance, issue resolution, and policy execution
  • Experience collaborating across Asia markets and with global teams
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and training facilitation skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence internal and external partners
