Role Overview:
The Sourcing Manager – Indirect Procurement is a strategic procurement leader responsible for shaping and executing category strategies across enterprise-wide indirect spend. This role drives commercial value, strengthens supplier governance, and ensures risk-managed, cost-effective sourcing solutions aligned with business priorities.
Operating within a global shared services environment, the role partners with senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, and Corporate Functions to deliver sustainable savings, optimize vendor performance, and elevate procurement maturity.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies across key indirect categories (e.g., IT, professional services, facilities, marketing, BPO, and corporate services).
• Conduct market intelligence and supplier benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.
• Identify cost optimization and value-creation opportunities beyond price reduction.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives, including RFP/RFQ design, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Structure competitive events to maximize leverage, innovation, and service quality.
• Deliver measurable savings, cost avoidance, and improved contractual terms.
• Establish and manage vendor performance frameworks, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks across the supply base.
• Support contract lifecycle management and renewal strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on procurement strategy and commercial structuring.
• Challenge demand specifications where necessary to drive efficiency and standardization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, and Finance to ensure governance compliance.
• Strengthen procurement governance, policies, and internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement and digital enablement within sourcing operations.
• Promote ethical sourcing and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline.
• 7–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or indirect procurement within a multinational environment.
• Proven success leading high-value negotiations and enterprise-level sourcing projects.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing multi-year contracts.
• Familiarity with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) preferred.
