Quality Assurance Senior Manager

Danao City, Cebu | On-site | Full Time; Dayshift

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement overall quality assurance and food safety programs across all operating units.
• Review, audit, and analyze the execution of QA programs and procedures to ensure consistent standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with FDA, NMIS, BAI, BFAR, LGU, and legal mandates.
• Perform audits on suppliers, toll processors, bakeries, and depots, preparing status reports and managing critical product safety issues.
• Recommend improvements for test equipment, facility upgrades, and process streamlining to optimize quality operations.
• Lead staff selection, training, performance evaluations, and workforce planning while maintaining alignment with QAD standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Chemical Technician, or holder of a valid PRC license (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Food Quality Assurance, R&D, or Manufacturing (10+ years in multinational food manufacturing highly preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role with proven people management experience.
• Deep knowledge of Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Microbiology, and Physiochemical Analysis.
• Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems (HACCP, ISO Systems, SPC) and regulatory practices (GMP, GWP, GLP).
• Based in or willing to relocate to Danao City, Cebu or nearby municipalities.
