Job Description

The Visa Manager will lead our Visa and Documentation Department, overseeing the end-to-end processing of complex visa applications. You will be responsible for maintaining our high approval success rates, managing a team of specialists, and ensuring absolute compliance with international embassy regulations and data privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the visa department, ensuring all applications for Corporate, Marine, FIT, and VIP clients are processed accurately and within strict deadlines.
  • Strategic Compliance: Monitor global visa policy changes (e.g., E-visa updates, Schengen code revisions) and proactively update internal SOPs and client advisory notices.
  • Team Management: Mentor, train, and conduct performance appraisals for Team Leaders and Visa Specialists. Foster a culture of extreme attention to detail and customer-centricity.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain professional relationships with embassies, consulates, and third-party providers (VFS, BLS, etc.).
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct final audits of high-value or sensitive applications. Manage the department’s "Notice of Refusal" analysis to continuously improve approval ratings.
  • Client Consultation: Handle high-level escalations and provide expert consultation for VIP and C-suite corporate clients regarding complex documentation requirements.
  • Data Security: Ensure the department strictly adheres to the Philippine Data Privacy Act when handling sensitive personal documents.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Management, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in visa processing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a reputable travel agency or corporate travel environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the documentation requirements for major global regions (Schengen, North America, UK, ANZ). Familiarity with Marine/Seaman visa requirements is a significant advantage.
  • Skills: * Exceptional leadership and conflict-resolution skills.

    • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Proficiency in report generation and performance metric analysis.
