Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day travel operations, ensuring smooth execution of bookings, reservations, and ticketing services. The role focuses on operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and strong coordination with airlines and partners, while leading a team and managing high-level client requirements including VIP bookings.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily travel operations including reservations, ticketing, and booking management
• Handle complex and VIP travel arrangements including high-priority and executive bookings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines and travel partners
• Lead and manage operations teams to ensure service excellence and efficiency
• Monitor operational performance, service levels, and key metrics
• Resolve escalations, operational issues, and client concerns
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field
• Strong experience in travel agency operations, ticketing, and reservations
• Knowledge of booking systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or similar tools
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Experience handling VIP or corporate travel accounts is an advantage
