About the job Product Commercialization Lead
The Product Commercialization Lead is responsible for managing the successful rollout of new and existing product initiatives by ensuring operational readiness across internal teams and external partners. This role drives end-to-end execution from planning through launch, working closely with commercial, supply chain, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely delivery, alignment, and execution excellence. The role also supports planning cycles and drives process enhancements to improve overall launch effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Launch Management
- Manage end-to-end commercialization activities for new product launches and business-as-usual initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess operational feasibility, define launch requirements, and establish execution plans.
- Ensure readiness of materials, packaging, and production requirements, including approvals and supplier coordination.
- Monitor manufacturing progress from pilot runs to full commercial deployment.
- Track launch timelines, identify risks, and escalate issues to ensure smooth implementation.
- Provide post-launch assessments and recommendations related to inventory, production adjustments, and supply continuity.
Business Planning Support
- Contribute to annual and cycle-based planning by consolidating project requirements and validating readiness inputs.
- Support business case preparation, revisions, and endorsement processes.
- Review forecast assumptions and recommend volume adjustments based on production capability and market requirements.
- Ensure approved projects are incorporated into execution plans within agreed timelines.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve commercialization workflows, approvals, and coordination processes.
- Implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, visibility, and collaboration across teams.
- Support the development of standardized reporting and tracking mechanisms for project milestones.
- Promote best practices that strengthen execution and reduce operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or any related field.
- Experience in project management, product launch, commercialization, or operations within a fast-paced organization.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven experience collaborating across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute projects within tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external partners.
- Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer products is an advantage.
