Head of Procurement Operations

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven AVP, Global Procurement Desk Leader to oversee global indirect procurement operations across India and the Philippines. This role will lead end-to-end purchasing operations, drive procurement transformation initiatives, and manage a high-performing team of Strategic Buyers and Purchasing Agents.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement operations (requisition-to-PO execution).
  Manage and develop a team across India and the Philippines (5+ direct reports).

• Drive procurement transformation initiatives including automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  Oversee catalog governance, preferred supplier enablement, and compliance controls.

• Manage tail-spend programs (P-card, non-catalog spend, supplier consolidation).

• Utilize spend analytics, demand forecasting, and dashboards to guide purchasing strategy.

• Ensure SLA adherence, workflow optimization, and ERP system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.

• 7–10+ years of indirect procurement experience (minimum 5 years may be considered with strong expertise).

• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
  Strong background in complex, multi-commodity sourcing and global procurement operations.

• Deep expertise in COUPA purchasing operations (requisition-to-PO lifecycle, catalog management, workflow/SLA management, system integration).

• Experience with other procurement ERPs such as SAP Ariba, SAP, GEP, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Proven experience in procurement analytics, automation, or AI-driven initiatives.
