Overview

A leading organization in the cybersecurity sector is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join its internal Salesforce team. This role is ideal for a professional with both functional and technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver system improvements and business solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery and ongoing system enhancements, supporting initiatives from initial requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business needs while following established development, change, and release management processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into structured documentation such as user stories, use cases, and backlog items.
  • Analyze and document end-to-end business processes, including current-state (“as-is”) and future-state (“to-be”) workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions to understand operational differences and ensure alignment with the global system structure.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues that may affect delivery timelines; escalate significant concerns to leadership when required.
  • Support the transition of initiatives from project delivery to ongoing operational support, ensuring smooth handover to business-as-usual processes.
  • Apply knowledge of change management and release management practices to ensure successful system updates and enhancements.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including scheduling sessions, preparing test cases, and gathering business sign-off before deployment.
  • Validate both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria are defined prior to development cycles and sprint planning.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements or process optimization within the Salesforce environment.




Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a structured project environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Salesforce in a Business Analyst or similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-deployment support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio for documentation and process mapping.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Background in projects involving integration between multiple systems.
  • Familiarity with both on-premise and SaaS-based solutions.
  • Understanding of CI/CD deployment practices and experience using tools such as Jira for backlog and project tracking.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.



Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working within the technology industry, particularly within professional services environments, is considered advantageous.
