Role Overview
The SailPoint Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions to protect enterprise systems, applications, and data. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen security controls, address vulnerabilities, and ensure the integrity of information systems.
The position requires a proactive approach to cybersecurity, continuous improvement of security practices, and the ability to support organizational compliance and risk management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in identity and access management, particularly within SailPoint solutions
- Lead and support team activities, including task coordination and decision-making
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive security initiatives and implement effective solutions
- Provide guidance and resolution for technical challenges across teams
- Monitor, assess, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, standards, and procedures
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training to promote security best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with SailPoint solutions (e.g., IdentityIQ or Identity Security Cloud)
- Strong understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) principles
- Experience implementing identity and access management and access control solutions
- Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management methodologies
- Experience in security incident response and handling
- Ability to design and enforce access control policies and procedures
