To lead the distribution center network by implementing robust strategic plans that align with company objectives. The Warehouse Inventory Controller ensures that all warehouse operations are lean, cost-effective, and fully compliant with internal and external standards while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence & Financial Control

  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed On-Shelf Availability (OSA) targets and manage total warehouse costs.
  • Timeline Management: Achieve Put-to-Zero (PTZ) and Dispatch targets on a weekly basis at minimum.
  • Inventory Health: Ensure Pending-But-Not-Loaded (PBNL) orders are kept current in age.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to ROS Compliance and internal audit standards.

2. Strategic Planning

  • Establish and execute overall Distribution Center strategies to support both divisional and corporate goals.
  • Continuously evaluate the distribution network to identify opportunities for scalability and optimization.

3. Inventory Integrity & Systems

  • Ensure 100% integrity of physical stocks and system data at all times.
  • Oversee regular cycle counts and lead the bi-annual full stock take to ensure maximum count accuracy.
  • Implement robust processes and internal controls to mitigate risk and shrinkage.

4. Innovation & Technology

  • Stay updated on the latest trends in warehouse management systems (WMS) and distribution technology.
  • Propose and implement appropriate technologies or capabilities to improve throughput and accuracy.

5. People Leadership & Culture

  • Develop a professional, motivated, and highly skilled team.
  • Ensure all employees have clear KPIs, job responsibilities, and the necessary training/equipment to succeed.
  • Prioritize employee well-being and safety, ensuring the Company DNA is fully embodied throughout the workforce.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a senior distribution or warehouse management role, ideally within a high-volume retail or FMCG environment.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle), and data visualization tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking abilities.
