VP Finance (Retail/FMCG)

This role serves as a key advisor to executive leadership, providing financial insight, risk oversight, and strategic guidance. The position oversees multiple finance-related functions and ensures strong financial discipline, compliance, and performance alignment across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and performance management
• Provide insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and control across financial processes
• Oversee cash flow, financial health, and resource allocation efficiency
• Drive improvements in finance systems, reporting quality, and process simplification
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors and regulatory bodies
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving finance, operations, and procurement

Qualifications

• Senior finance leader with experience in complex, multi-entity organizations
• Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering
• Proven track record in risk management, compliance, and governance
• Experience working closely with executive leadership teams
• Strong ability to influence strategy through financial insight
