Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead brand development and marketing initiatives for pharmaceutical products within the Ethical and OTC segments. The role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, driving product growth, managing product lifecycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize business performance across assigned therapeutic areas.

The ideal candidate has strong pharmaceutical marketing experience, excellent business acumen, and a deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, particularly within Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, and Diabetology.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Product Management

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for assigned pharmaceutical brands and product portfolios.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from launch planning to growth and maturity stages.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor brand performance and recommend strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute promotional campaigns, marketing programs, and brand initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop promotional materials and ensure compliance with regulatory and medical standards.
  • Lead product positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies within the market.
  • Coordinate product launches and tactical activities across multiple channels.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research and analyze industry data to understand physician, patient, and consumer behavior.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market response to improve brand strategies and customer engagement.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Partner closely with sales teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing programs and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Conduct product training and support field force effectiveness initiatives.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, demand plans, and business performance reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with medical affairs, regulatory, finance, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure successful execution of business plans.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners for marketing and promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience handling Ethical and/or OTC pharmaceutical products is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic areas such as Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, or Diabetology.
  • Proven experience in brand strategy, product launches, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing analytics tools.
