The Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategic and commercial performance of assigned pharmaceutical products across both prescription (ethical) and over-the-counter (OTC) segments. The role focuses on brand development, lifecycle management, marketing execution, and cross-functional coordination to support sustainable product growth and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement brand strategies to drive growth and market share
  • Manage both prescription and OTC product portfolios within assigned categories
  • Ensure clear product positioning and differentiation in the market
  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities

2. Marketing Execution & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Support both professional (healthcare-focused) and consumer-facing marketing initiatives
  • Align digital and traditional marketing activities to ensure consistent messaging
  • Track campaign performance and optimize based on key marketing metrics

3. Product Launch & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead planning and execution of product launches and relaunches
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including regulatory, medical, sales, and supply chain
  • Manage product lifecycle activities including growth, maturity, and optimization strategies
  • Support field implementation and gather market insights to refine strategies

4. Marketing Materials & Communication

  • Develop product communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Translate clinical and technical information into clear marketing messages
  • Support development of educational content for healthcare professionals and consumers
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all promotional materials

5. Planning & Budget Management

  • Develop annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives
  • Manage assigned marketing budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Track spending effectiveness and support ROI-based decision-making
  • Provide regular reporting on brand performance and market trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or product management
  • Experience in both prescription and OTC products is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and product lifecycle management
  • Experience in digital marketing is preferred
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills
