The Senior Systems & Infrastructure Specialist is a technical expert responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing critical IT infrastructure platforms. This role focuses on solving complex technical issues without predefined processes, driving standardization, and ensuring secure network communication between global teams and US-based client systems.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Platform Management (80%)

  • Design & Maintenance: Design and maintain robust IT infrastructure platforms to support essential business applications and services.
  • Performance & Capacity: Analyze performance trends to identify risks, propose optimization strategies, and lead capacity expansion planning.
  • Strategic Procurement: Coordinate technical specifications to meet business needs and provide data-driven rationales for procurement budget planning.
  • Innovation & R&D: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions and iterative system upgrades.
  • Automation & Integration: Design complex scripts to automate routine tasks, optimize existing tools, and perform high-level system integration operations.

Security Assurance & Business Continuity (20%)

  • Threat Mitigation: Safeguard infrastructure by deploying robust security measures, managing patch updates, and designing proactive threat response strategies.
  • Incident Management: Resolve unprecedented technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document preventive measures for future mitigation.
  • Continuity Planning (BCP): Draft Business Continuity Plans (BCP), suggest test approaches, and evaluate drill results to ensure organizational resilience.
  • Compliance & Audit: Assist in preparing audit materials and improvement reports to ensure strict adherence to security and compliance protocols.

Technical Leadership

  • Knowledge Retention: Lead the development of technical documentation and internal knowledge bases to ensure long-term information retention.
  • Mentorship: Facilitate technical exchanges among team members and lead the resolution of complex, non-standard technical escalations.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Windows or Linux server environments.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record of managing infrastructure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service levels.

Technical Skills & Certifications

  • Certifications: MCSE certification is strongly preferred.
  • OS Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Linux platforms.
  • Infrastructure Skills: Strong foundational knowledge in system integration and automated tool optimization.
  • Communication: Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) for global stakeholder collaboration.
