The R2R Manager – Intercompany is responsible for leading end-to-end intercompany accounting operations across multiple regions. The role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, drives process improvements and finance transformation initiatives, and leads a high-performing team in delivering quality service while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end intercompany accounting process across global regions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close and financial reporting activities.
  • Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development to team members.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and finance transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Partner with Global Process Owners (GPOs), Finance leaders, and key stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Resolve complex accounting issues and serve as the escalation point for the team.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-regional projects to improve and optimize finance processes.
  • Oversee business continuity planning and support long-term operational strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred/required.
  • At least 8 years of accounting experience, including experience managing General Ledger or Record-to-Report (R2R) operations.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
  • Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, general accounting, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience leading finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, BlackLine, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
