About the job Sales Engineer (Generator Sets)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for industrial generator sales and provide market and technical support to distributors and dealers within the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and distributors.
- Advise stakeholders on competitive market insights, industry trends, and customer preferences.
- Define goals and set direction for distributors and dealers in designated locations.
- Provide technical and marketing support to distributors to enhance product positioning and performance.
- Analyze sales and market data, providing senior management with relevant insights for decision-making.
- Coordinate activities with other departments, suppliers, contractors, and consultants as needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of sales experience in power generation, or a Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High level of self-motivation and performance orientation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proven track record in sales with a customer-focused, resourceful approach.
