Are you our new Lead Credit Risk Analyst?

Working within our dynamic Credit Risk & Decision Science team, this is an exciting opportunity to join Pepper Money, a specialist mortgage lender backed by a global financial institution.

What you will be doing

  • Support and mentor junior analysts
  • Support the Head of Credit Risk in delivering CCRO strategic priorities.
  • Develop and enhance management information, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Create interactive dashboards and provide actionable portfolio insights.
  • Build, deploy, and monitor analytical models to support business decision-making.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting, business intelligence, and data analysis across the business.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience leading and coaching analysts.
  • Strong background in data analytics, visualisation, Predictive modelling and analytics, including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), and prepayment forecasting and leveraging credit bureau data for credit risk analytics and decisioning. forecasting, and machine learning.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
  • Sound knowledge of credit risk and portfolio management within the mortgage industry is desirable.
  • Experience within financial services, ideally across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Credit Risk.
