Gas Station Customer Service Associate / Deli Associate (Mount Morris, NY)

Job Overview:

PMB Talent Partners is seeking dependable and customer focused Customer Service Associates to join gas station convenience store teams throughout Upstate New York.

This position combines customer service, cashier responsibilities, deli operations, and light food preparation. The ideal candidate will have previous deli or food service experience and be comfortable preparing hot food items in a fast paced convenience store environment.

Candidates must be comfortable assisting customers while maintaining clean, organized, and properly stocked food service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Operate the cash register and process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Prepare sandwiches, deli items, and hot food selections according to store procedures.
• Perform light cooking and food preparation, including heating and preparing ready to serve food items.
• Maintain food quality, freshness, and proper presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Monitor food temperatures, expiration dates, and product rotation.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, counters, and utensils.
• Restock deli ingredients, food supplies, beverages, and store merchandise.
• Assist with general store operations and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous deli, kitchen, or food service experience required.
• Hands on experience preparing deli items and hot food required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks associated with the position.
