Account Executive

 Job Description:

Our client, a leading full-service implementer of cutting-edge learning spaces, is seeking an Account Executive / Business Developer to join their growing team. In business for over 40 years, our client is one of the most respected partners in the K-12 space.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, business development and/or account management.
  • Interior Design, Contract Furniture or Furniture Distribution/Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • Proven track record of creating and maintaining client relationships

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and identify opportunities for market expansion and business growth.
  • Deliver product benefit proposals and presentations
  • Present solutions to deliver against sales metrics and KPIs.
  • Research and develop new business and long-term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software
  • Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of the sales process
