Our client, a rapidly expanding global accounting advisory firm, is looking for a Managing Director to lead the expansion in Denver by leveraging existing client relationships and developing new ones. They have a proven track record working with manufacturing, software, technology, biotech, and consumer products clients. This is a true player, coach, and hunter opportunity.

Partnering with C-level management of Fortune 500, mid-cap, and start-up companies, the Managing Director will lead project teams and interact with clients and their Big 4 auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, technical accounting and regulatory compliance, revenue recognition, developing and managing client relationships, and business development.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years experience; minimum 6+ years within a Big 4
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Enjoy being client-facing
• Have a consultative mindset and are a problem-solver
• Proven track record growing and leading teams

As the Managing Director, you will:

• Focus on expanding the firm's awareness and footprint within the business community
• New business development and expanding existing client relationships
• Lead engagements and have a "hands-on" client approach
• Play an active role in hiring and developing consultants
• Lead firm initiatives and identify areas for improvements

On a typical engagement, you will:

• Lead clients through complex accounting issues and drive resolution
• Lead and own delivery on operational due diligence for complex transactions - IPOs, acquisitions and divestitures, etc.
• SEC and regulatory requirements - 10Ks, 10Qs, S-1, S-4 filings.
• Be the subject matter expert, providing input on new ASC standards
