SENIOR EXECUTIVE SUSTAINABILITY

 Job Description:

Primary position Objective:

  • To assist the Sustainability Manager in facilitating & coordinating PTP ESG initiatives. To portray PTP as a sustainable and good corporate organization at the same time to promote PTPs brand and service locally and internationally.
  • Sustainability - work with the team to monitor PTP's sustainability framework and execute initiatives/action plans in approved sustainability pillars, as per manager's direction. He/she will be expected to lead select projects and oversee the process from end-to-end ensuring it meets targets.
  • Corporate Communications - to assist managers in executing industry-wide initiatives when required, i.e regulatory requests, social media posts etc. He/she will also be expected to assist managers in the crafting of communications materials.
  • Stakeholder support - to be the department's key contact for internal stakeholders for corporate requests and reporting.
  • Departmental admin and processes - to oversee and lead in this area and be accountable for all administrative operations to his/her line manager to provide guidance and direction to other exec(s) on what needs to be done for the various admin tasks.
  • Promote learning and common understanding of sustainability within the organization.

Implementing Sustainability/ESG strategy and strategic initiatives:

  • To assist in implementation and monitor PTP Sustainability Strategy and Sustainability Roadmap

Communication, Dashboard & Reporting

  • To assist in preparing dashboard and reporting (include data collection & analysis) on time and good quality.

Stakeholder support:

  • To assist in maintaining relationship with stakeholders
  • To assist in coordinating and attending any events organize by stakeholders related with ESG.

Governance and admin tasks:

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned or prescribed from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor or higher degree preferable.
  • Post Graduate qualification in Sustainability Studies is preferred.
  • Fluency in local language and English, both written and spoken.
  • Preferably minimum of 3 years of proven working experience in relevant role - i.e environmental studies, corporate communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications, branding, advertising, etc
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and timelines, able to multitask and work quickly and is comfortable with fluid situations in a fast paced and always changing industry.
  • Understand sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, such as Global Reporting Initiative Standards (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and UN Global Compact is preferred.
