Job Summary
To maintain adequate process of PIPO and VAVE that can enhance spare part management program and to work very closely within Supply Chain Division, Engineering & Facilities Division, and Project Integration Division team to improve and achieve high level of inventory control in order to support Material Planning Department to achieve level of supply ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the creation of detailed PIPO/VAVE projects including impact to cost, inventory holding and supply ability
- Learning about business cases and return on investment, developing project timing, and working as an integral member of a cross functional team.
- Work together with Supplier and EFD in establishing technical feasibility such as through test, validation, and part tear downs.
- Interface with other engineers and departments to validate product specification and company standards.
- Work together within internal SCD and EFD team for the timelines and schedules for the execution of PIPO/VAVE initiatives and ensure delivery on key metrics.
- Report on PIPO/VAVE project status, progress and pipeline to all stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experiences in Bill of Material Management.
- MRP/ERP system experience
- Experience working as Design Engineer or Project Management or VAVE is a benefit.
- Experience in handling PIPO material.
- Ability to understand, explain, apply and guide others on assessing and managing risks, use and integrate PTP information systems and provide optimal support.
- Ability to comprehend, explain and assure the quality of IMS, manage documents, and master database and use of Information System & Tech Knowledge, analyze data & manage use of information and use data for decision making.
- Aware and understand on the quality assurance and control.
- Strong analytical skills.
