The Marketing Resource Specialist is responsible for supporting the procurement and management of marketing resources and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities. This role will focus on vendor sourcing, negotiation, cost control, and performance follow-up, while assisting the marketing team in securing high-quality, cost-effective resources. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in building supplier relationships and supporting marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Procurement Support
- Assist in developing and executing marketing procurement plans in alignment with company needs.
- Maintain an updated supplier database and procurement records.
- Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and company policies.
- Vendor Sourcing & Coordination
- Research, identify, and evaluate potential vendors for media, production, events, KOLs/influencers, PR, and creative services.
- Coordinate with vendors on quotations, proposals, and project requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Procurement Operations
- Support the bidding and quotation process, ensuring transparency and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in commercial negotiations to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
- Assist in contract execution, purchase orders, and follow-up on delivery schedules.
- Cost & Quality Management
- Monitor procurement costs and assist in meeting cost-saving targets.
- Support quality checks and ensure services/products meet marketing team requirements.
- Track supplier performance and escalate issues to the procurement or marketing lead.
- Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and cost analysis.
- Suggest improvements to procurement workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on market trends and new marketing resource opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Background
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Background in Marketing, Advertising, Events, or Procurement is an advantage.
- Experience working in an advertising/media/PR/event agency is highly preferred.
- Professional Experience
- 24 years of relevant experience in marketing procurement, vendor management, or marketing operations.
- Familiarity with marketing resources such as media, events, production, and digital suppliers.
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good negotiation and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage timelines, and work under pressure.
- Strong cost awareness and budget discipline.
- Language Skills
- Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written).
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
