Hiring A Cat Scan Tech In Henderson, NC

Today we are seeking a Cat Scan Tech for our client in Henderson, NC.

This client will partially pay your relocation. The client does offer a bonus and its disbursed as a 10k commitment bonus paid over 2 years. up to 5k in Relocation.

The Must Haves for this role is as follows:

-Must be ARRT registered.

-Willing to take call duty

-Prefer prior hospital experience

In this role-

- You'll perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

- You'll report to: the Director of Imaging/Radiology

- Review patient history and physician's orders.

-Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

-When ordered, you'll prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.

-Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.

-Prepare equipment and supplies.

-Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.

-Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

-Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.

-Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s).

-Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.

-Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

-Enter, transmit and report scan results.

-Effectively utilize the Electronic Health Record

-Be prepared and be on Call as assigned on a as needed basis

-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Minimum Education:

-Graduate of accredited school of Radio-logic Technology

-ARRT registered in Radiology

Certifications:

-Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire.

Required Skills:

This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
