Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Director for our client in the building material industry. This position will oversee the business, commercial, sales management, and marketing teams.


  1. Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to maximize market penetration and achieve revenue targets.
  2. Lead the business, commercial, sales management, and marketing teams, providing guidance, support, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  3. Identify new market opportunities, evaluate potential partnerships, and develop strategies to expand the company's regional presence.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product development, pricing, and marketing strategies aligned with customer needs and market trends.
  5. Drive distributor performance through effective relationship management, training, and incentive programs.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
  8. Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.


  1. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the building material industry, with a focus on sales, business development, or commercial roles.
  2. Proven track record of achieving significant growth and exceeding revenue targets.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  4. Broad product portfolio knowledge within the building material industry.

  9. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus).
