Interior Designer

Position: Interior Designer Retail Store

We are looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Interior Designer to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing retail spaces. This role involves space planning, furniture placement, material selection, and ensuring compliance with blueprints, building codes, and inspection requirements. The designer will also be responsible for creating drawings, design details, specifications, bills of quantity, and design calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop space planning, concept development, and interior design concepts based on site visits.
• Generate 3D perspective drawings and detailed construction drawings, coordinating specifications with clients and contractors.
• Prepare presentations on design intent, color schemes, furnishings, fixtures, lighting, and materials.
• Create construction specifications, design documentation, and material selection reports.
• Communicate and liaise with contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage projects from concept to completion.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design for event spaces or retail stores (sports-related experience preferred).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to independently design and prepare full sets of drawings, from concept to construction detailing.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, technical requirements, and building codes.
• Willingness to travel for overseas projects.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing); proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
