Job Purpose

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transport vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless warehouse operations and timely delivery of goods. The role focuses on stock accuracy, timely deliveries, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Warehouse Stock Management via 3PL

    • Supervise the receipt of goods from both local and import suppliers.

    • Oversee daily stock counting activities performed by the 3PL team.

    • Ensure the 3PL executes orders accurately and goods are transferred properly from IT Bata to transporters.

    • Conduct joint operational reviews with 3PL to address and resolve issues.

    • Monitor and report on 3PL KPIs through regular weekly meetings.

  2. Transport Vendor Management

    • Manage transport vendors to ensure proper checking and handling of packed goods from 3PL.

    • Ensure transporters deliver goods to stores within agreed lead times.

    • Obtain and review delivery reports from transporters for accuracy and completeness.

  3. Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, MD, Internal Audit, Area/ District Managers, Sales teams) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

    • Proactively solve supply discrepancies to minimize mismatches, overstocking, or stock shortages.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.

  • Strong understanding of 3PL operations, transport logistics, and inventory management.

  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and MS Office.

  • Good communication and leadership abilities to manage external partners and internal teams.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
