Position Summary
The Assistant Branch Manager plays a key role in supporting branch performance by ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a superior customer experience. This position partners with the Branch Manager to drive business results, lead team development, and maintain efficient day-to-day operations within a structured financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support daily branch operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Assist in achieving branch performance goals, including loan origination, revenue targets, and customer satisfaction metrics

Supervise, coach, and develop team members to drive engagement and productivity

Evaluate and approve loan applications in accordance with company guidelines and risk standards

Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and sound judgment

Maintain oversight of cash handling procedures, audits, and reporting to ensure financial integrity

Partner with leadership to implement operational improvements and best practices
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, retail banking, or a related field

At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience

Proven ability to perform in a goal-oriented, performance-driven environment

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $42,000 – $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Performance Incentives: Monthly bonus opportunities based on branch performance and individual contributions (potential additional $6,000 – $12,000 annually)

Total Compensation Potential: $48,000 – $67,000+
