Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. This role emphasizes patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams following established protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment according to safety standards
  • Accurately document procedures and manage images in PACS/EHR
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
  • Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies

Qualifications

  • ARRT (R) required
  • ARRT-CT certification required or registry eligible
  • Active Washington license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS certification required
  • Prior hospital or acute care CT experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
