Position Overview
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. This role emphasizes patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams following established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication
- Operate and maintain CT equipment according to safety standards
- Accurately document procedures and manage images in PACS/EHR
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) required
- ARRT-CT certification required or registry eligible
- Active Washington license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification required
- Prior hospital or acute care CT experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
