We offer high and medium voltage electrical design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services for bespoke and full turnkey solutions.

Due to increased successful project awards in the renewable sector, we are currently looking to hire experienced Electrical Design Engineers to work in a fast growing and dynamic environment.

Preparation of engineering drawings (substation layouts, elevations, lightning zones etc.);

Preparation of panel schematic drawings.

Design of protection and control schemes.

Preparation of equipment specifications.

Technical evaluation of equipment offers.

Technical report writing.

The principal accountabilities outline the main duties. However, in an organisation such as Powercomm Ltd it is inevitable that tasks may arise which not fall within the remit of the above may list of main duties. Employees are therefore required to respond with a flexible approach when tasks arise which are not specifically covered in their job description. Should an additional responsibility become a regular part of an employees job, the job description will be amended to reflect this.

Knowledge (Education & Related Experience):

• Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Familiarity with HV substation design from 10kV to 220kV.
• Familiarity with ESB standards (desired but not compulsory)
• Proficiency in Eplan and AutoCAD 2D (desired but not compulsory
• 3+ years in a similar position

Full clean drivers licence
