Assistant Project Manager

 Job Description:

About the Role

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Assitance Project Manager is responsible for the administration of projects to adopt international standards in accordance with Standards Australia’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate activities which relate to Standards Development international adoption projects
  • Ensure targets, timelines, controls and quality parameters are met in accordance with Standards Australia’s project management methodology
  • Maintain plans and information for projects using the organisation's enterprise project management system
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to support project objectives
  • Build and support working relationships with project stakeholders
  • Review updates to stakeholder details and ensure data accuracy
  • Provide guidance to committees and other stakeholders 
  • Respond to external enquiries 
  • Coordinate Standards Australia’s International Standards Development Engagement
  • Liaise with international experts for input to international projects in areas of high net benefit to the Australian community
  • Record time on the company’s project management system 
  • Regular liaison and constructive collaboration with internal stakeholders 
What are we looking for?

We are looking for a self motivated analytically minded person with excellent communication and administration skills. 

They successful candidate will also have:

• 3+ years’ experience in an office administration role
• Experience utilising project management methodologies
