PRODUCTION STAFF - LOGISTIC HELPER

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection: Unloading incoming shipments from delivery vehicles and verifying them against purchase orders or delivery notes. You are responsible for identifying damaged goods or quantity discrepancies immediately.
• Inventory Management: Organizing and storing merchandise in designated shelves or racks. This includes performing regular stock checks and audits.
• Order Fulfillment: "Picking" items from storage according to order slips, then packing and labeling them securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit.
• Loading & Dispatch: Moving processed orders to the shipping bay and assisting in loading them onto outgoing delivery vans or trucks.
• Facility Maintenance: Upholding standards (cleanliness and organization) to prevent hazards like spills or blocked walkways.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• The role requires significant stamina for long hours of standing, bending, and lifting items often weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems or basic inventory software is increasingly standard for scanning barcodes and updating digital records.
• Most employers, require minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail to avoid fulfillment errors and excellent teamwork skills, as warehouses rely on high-speed, coordinated throughput.
