Job Summary

The Kitchen Staff is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring proper food handling procedures, and supporting smooth kitchen operations to deliver quality food and service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients such as washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning food items.
  • Assist in cooking and food preparation according to company recipes and standards.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of food and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items to the supervisor.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain an organized kitchen area.
  • Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Support kitchen operations during peak hours and special events.
  • Perform opening and closing kitchen procedures.
  • Follow company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • At least High School or Senior High School graduate.
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
