LPG Tank Delivery Helper 

The Delivery Helper assists the LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) Delivery Driver in the safe, efficient, and accurate transportation and delivery of LPG cylinders to residential and commercial customers. This role is highly physically demanding and requires a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loading and Unloading:

    • Assist the driver with the manual loading of LPG cylinders onto the delivery truck at the warehouse/plant.
    • Safely and manually unload cylinders at customer locations, often involving heavy lifting and carrying (LPG cylinders can weigh up to 45kg/100lbs or more).
    • Ensure proper and secure stacking and storage of cylinders on the vehicle to prevent accidents during transit.
  • Delivery and Customer Service:

    • Navigate and assist the driver in finding specific delivery locations and following the scheduled route.
    • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Answer basic customer questions or concerns and report more complex issues to the driver or supervisor.
    • Handling of Cylinders at Site: Assist in replacing empty cylinders with full ones, following strict safety protocols.
  • Documentation and Inventory:

    • Verify that the correct type and quantity of LPG cylinders are loaded and delivered according to the sales/delivery invoice.
    • Obtain necessary customer signatures or acknowledgments for delivered and returned items.
    • Assist in collecting payments and issuing receipts, if required.
    • Report any discrepancies (excess or shortage) immediately to the driver or dispatcher.
  • Safety and Vehicle Maintenance:

    • Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines and local regulations related to the handling and transportation of hazardous materials (LPG).
    • Help the driver perform routine checks of the delivery vehicle and equipment, ensuring it is clean and well-maintained.
    • Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety hazards encountered during the route.
    • Ensure necessary safety equipment (e.g., Spill Kits, PPE) is present and accessible.

      • DIPLOMA
      • BIRTH CERTIFICATE
      • MEDICAL (BASIC 5 PLUS DRUGTEST & FIT TO WORK)

        RATE: 505/day + 50/meal allowance
