Job Summary
The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and according to company standards.
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
- Prepare and arrange dining tables before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Process customer bills and handle payments accurately when assigned.
- Coordinate with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Address customer concerns courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- At least Senior High School graduate or College level.
- Experience in food and beverage service is an advantage but not required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a pleasing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
