Job Summary

The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
  • Take customer orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and according to company standards.
  • Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
  • Prepare and arrange dining tables before and after service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Process customer bills and handle payments accurately when assigned.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address customer concerns courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

  • At least Senior High School graduate or College level.
  • Experience in food and beverage service is an advantage but not required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented with a pleasing personality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
