CASHIER- GERONA TARLAC (METRO GAS)

Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures proper cash handling, issuing receipts, and maintaining a smooth checkout process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them during checkout
• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly
• Maintain and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift
• Ensure proper recording of all transactions
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic concerns
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and presentable
• Follow company policies, procedures, and security protocols

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate (Senior High or College level is an advantage)
• With or without experience (experience as a cashier is a plus)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
